Standard warning. If you're going to try this at home discharge the filter caps first. If you don't know what that means, ask someone who does. There are lethal voltages past this point.
After cleaning the surfaces with some citrus cleaner, I noticed that one of the screws appears to be non-original, (a square head), no biggie.
Opened up the chassis to find much of my anticipated work done for me
The original filter capacitors have already been replaced.
As have some of the other components inside.

So what was the problem?
It turns out the last person to work on this amp must have take out the tubes and when he went to put them back he switched the position of the 12AX7 and 7025. Lols.
